Our tournaments follow the IWLCA recommendations.

Tournament Details:

The recommendations of the IWLCA will be followed:
1.  Regulation full size fields
2.  50 minute games in a championship format (different for different age groups)
3.  Fields in close proximity for college recruiting
4.  Separate seating area for college coaches
5.  Team players must be of the same graduation year, i.e. 2010’s must play in the 2010 division and the 2011’s in the 2011 division.
 6. Combination teams are allowed in these ages.

Following IWLCA recommendations, TOP of the BAY Tournaments uses the following guidelines:

• The classes of 2010 and 2011 will have 50 minute games. 
  
• The classes of 2010 and 2011 will play on  regulation fields that are in close proximity to one another for college coaches’ convenience.

• Water will be provided on each field. Please bring your own water bottle.
• Each field is lined for full field competition.
• A leader board, by level of play, will be posted and updated to keep track of tournament records in each division.  Field marshals on each field will record and report ALL scores.
• Tournament rules are listed in the program. US Women’s Lacrosse Rules 2008 will be followed at ALL levels of play. No experimental rules will be in play.

Team Check-In

The coach of each team must check in at the main tent prior to playing their first game.  Waivers must be received or your team will not be permitted to step onto the field.

There will be plenty of bathrooms and they will be  placed near each field. 
Each coach will receive trash bags when they check in...trash containers will be everywhere - please use them!
Trainers are on the field for first aid only- not for routine taping.

Coaches Area

Special recruiting boxes, intended for college coaches ONLY, will be indicated on the fields. Please ask your parents  and fans to respect the college coaches space.

Food/Entertainment

There will be a lot of great lacrosse apparel vendors, other vendors and food concessions.
