Kirkwood Soccer Complex:

Masks-  Coaches, Referees Event staff required to wear mask as they are in contact with players.  Also, unvaccinated spectators would be asked to wear masks.  Vaccinated spectators do not have.  Players should wear mask to and from the field, once on the field and for game play masks do not need to be worn.
Social Distancing-  Spectators are encouraged to continue to social distance whenever possible.
Spectator Limits-  We are currently approved for 2 spectators per athlete per field.

Outdoor Activities

  • Face masks are no longer required for all persons, including players, coaches, referees, and spectators.
  • Face masks will still be required inside the restrooms at the comfort stations.
  • The prohibition on teams from outside Maryland, DC, and Virginia has been removed.  Teams from all locations may now play in the County.
  • There is no limitation on the number of spectators for outdoor sporting events.

Internal Programs (SoccerPlex and SAM Soccer) and training rentals will continue to use the Health Check and Waiver for contact tracing purposes.  External League users should continue to follow the Health Check and Contact tracing protocol of their leagues.

Individuals may still choose to wear face masks while at the SoccerPlex and while actively playing.  The Maryland SoccerPlex strongly encourages individuals eligible to be vaccinated to get vaccinated.  Individuals not currently vaccinated are strongly encouraged to wear face coverings and continue to social distance.  Individuals who are not feeling well and/or displaying symptoms of COVID-19 should remain home.
